We help you choose a game for the people and time you have.
How we research
We use publishers’ pages and rulebooks to check player counts, playing times, and game rules. Each profile links to its sources. Our notes explain which features may matter to your group, including how much there is to learn.
Original writing and artwork
We write our own guides and explanations. Links take you to the original rulebooks, videos, and publisher pages; we do not republish them. Our illustrations show characters and tabletop scenes, rather than photographs of particular products.
Editing and corrections
Another editor checks factual claims, sources, and wording before publication. We date the source checks on game profiles. If we find a factual mistake after publication, we correct the page and add a note to the correction record.
Using the finder
The finder covers a selected collection of base games. Player counts and playing times come from publishers. We assess the rules burden and explain our reasons on each profile. Check your edition: expansions and different versions can change these details.
Funding and privacy
There are no paid placements or affiliate links. You do not need an account. Finder filters run in your browser. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate traffic and page performance.
